Pakistan’s support to Nepal with free medical camps to continue

Biratnagar: The Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal in collaboration with the Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association (NPFCA) organized the 18 th. Free Medical Camp at Shree Siddheshwor Basic School, Kitini- Ward 3, Godawori, Lalitpur, June 17, 2023.

The Free Medical Camp was jointly inaugurated by Mr. Umair Ali, the Charge d’ Affaires (a.i.) of Pakistan, Dr. Manju Ratna Sakya, President, Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association (NPFCA), Mr. Gajendra Maharjan, Mayor Godawari Municipality and Mr. Raj Ghimire, Chairman, Ward-3 Godawari Municipality.

Nepalese doctors and para-medical staff (who had graduated from various medical institutions of Pakistan) provided free services. Free medical treatment and three months medicines were provided to more than 400 men, women and children.

In his, remarks, Mr. Umar Ali, Charge d’ Affaires (a.i.) said that the Free Medical Camp is a reflection of close people-to-people relations between Pakistan and Nepal.

He thanked NPFCA, the attending doctors and para-medical staff for upholding the spirit of serving humanity inter alia, by organizing the free medical camp.

Charge d’ Affaires (a.i) reiterated Pakistan’s continued support for such medical camps in future as well.
