Nepal needs to face the UAE in order to secure a spot in the T20 World Cup. After suffering a defeat against Oman by a margin of 5 runs in the last group stage match, Nepal is now slated to compete against the UAE.
Despite their initial aim to top the group, Nepal fell short of the 146-run target set by Oman in their match on Thursday. Simultaneously, the UAE emerged victorious against Hong Kong by 22 runs in the Group B contest held at Moolpani, making them the group winners. Consequently, it has been decided that Nepal will face the UAE in the semi-final match tomorrow.
